Rehearsals are well under way for our forthcoming production of The Little Mermaid.

Cast and Crew are working extremely hard with preparations for our Little Mermaid Jr performance. With 7 weeks to production week, we are in a fantastic position. I feel blessed to have so many wonderfully talented students who are so enthused and determined to present to you a high quality, magical performance.

Disney has a firm place in my heart and the hearts of many. I grew up watching The Little Mermaid, singing the songs, wearing the costumes and acting out the scenes with friends. For me, my dreams have come true, I haven't stopped singing the songs, dancing and now I am bringing this wonderful production to life.  I won’t lie to you, any opportunity in rehearsals I need to step in and take over one of my talented student's character, I am there - even the male roles. I can promise you, it won’t be me making an appearance but my amazing students - they are so talented that we have two casts - meaning more students are able to play out their dreams.

Our CATS family is so precious. We are one team and very supportive of each other. Rehearsals are challenging, not because there is so much to do, to sing, to act and dance, it's because as a young actor there is a fear of making mistakes - but not at CATS. Our students are encouraging, kind and have a genuine wish for all their CATS family to succeed - this is what is so inspiring about our rehearsal journey so far.
