Class Act Theatre School Neath and Baglan journey to Margam to rehearse The Little Mermaid

Class Act Theatre School Neath and Baglan classes take over Margam Discovery Centre to rehearse their production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. A three day residential filled with song, dance and a great deal of laughter. Kayte with her fantastic Creative Team challenged every student in a series of workshops with the aim to stage some of Disney's iconic musical numbers and bring the script to life. Our Creative Team too had a busy schedule making costumes, building coral and platters of food; the stage friendly type.

It is true to say every member of the cast from youngest to oldest worked tirelessly to achieve our aims for the weekend. Among the very busy schedule, there was plenty of time spent making memories, building friendships and having a whole lot of fun. Students enjoyed free time with their friends in their own designated common room, enjoyed participating in a samba workshop and most certainly every member young and the not so young ( yes, even the adults) enjoyed the Saturday night quiz - a dynamic, interactive series of competitive games; human hungry hippos was certainly a Class Act favourite!
