As her passion and enthusiasm grew for the arts, so did the desire to develop her skills at a more academic level and so, Kayte  opted for GCSE and A Level Drama and Dance; achieving top grades which allowed her to follow her dreams and study Drama and Performing Arts at university. It was at this point Kayte made a conscious decision to follow the teaching route and so, went to Aberystwyth University to complete her PGDE in Drama & English Secondary Education. Having such a role model in Jill Williams ,Kayte knew that the teaching route was exactly where she wanted to be.
