CATS Swansea strives to challenge our students to become the best versions of themselves whilst developing their performance skills.

Depending on the time of year we will either be busy rehearsing for a forth coming production or developing our students’ skills in a variety of styles and forms of theatre. Weekly classes can range from anything from physical theatre and mime work, to Musical theatre singing to script work and developing improvisational skills.

This year sees Gareth take of the reins of CATS Swansea from founder Jill Williams. Having working as a Professional Performer and training at one of London’s top Musical Theatre Schools, Gareth is often in touch with West End and Broadway performers and organises additional workshops with Actors and Performers from the professional world of theatre.

Whilst we pride ourselves in exceptional productions and helping students who want to advance on to Drama and Dance Schools, we also know how important drama and theatre skills can be in other parts of children’s lives. Through the fun, energetic and often exaggerated medium of theatre we pride ourselves in helping children develop their confidence, communication skills and interpersonal skills such as leadership, empathy and teamwork. Since the schools inception C.AT.S has become a strong and wide reaching family and we strive to continue being a school at the forefront of teaching and theatre in South Wales.
